Our guide Joey did an amazing job explaining the sights during our 1-hour tour at the same time driving the helicopter smoothly. It was our first time experience with the kids and I would highly recommend Rainbow helicopters

We arrived early, were quickly processed, and put on a flight almost an hour early. We didn't book a private flight but were upgraded to private when we arrived, which was lovely and much appreciated. Julian was our pilot and he was fantastic! Very friendly, funny, and knowledgeable of the island. We did a doors off tour and it was great. It was really cool to see the island from so high up. They warn you it's windy but it was still so much windier than we expected, especially for anyone in the back seats. I had to hold my headset on the whole time to keep it from blowing off because it wouldn't tighten enough to stay put with the strong winds. Overall it was a great experience and we'd recommend everyone take this tour. It's immediately become one of our favorite experiences in Hawaii to date!

YA GIRL GOT ENGAGED ON ONE OF THESE HELI'S. We went on the 45 min tour with pilot Julian. Originally, we were going to be in the big shared helicopter but it was unavailable at our tour time. The staff ended up giving us a private tour in one of the smaller helicopters and it was awesome. Julian was so friendly and honestly treated us like old friends. He had cool facts to share and was very personable. I 10000% recommend. It was beyond beautiful and such a wild and cool way to see the island. I will say, we went on the 4pm tour which was super nice since the sunset was at 5:45pm. There was still a lot of light but not beating down. My videos came out great. I wore a sweatshirt and shorts with doors off and by the end of the 45 mins was a little chilly. It is December though so maybe during summer it's not as bad.. either way 100% do the doors off!

Awesome tour of Oahu from the sky. Our pilot Julian was super friendly and gave great commentary on the sights around the island. We even saw two huge Tiger sharks in the water as we flew by Waikīkī. I also proposed to my girlfriend on tour. Overall great time!

This is by far the coolest thing I have done in my 73 years. Lucien was fantastic. Great narration about the sights and very informative. If I had more time, I would do another helicopter ride. I cannot recommend Rainbow Helicopters enough. When in Hawaii, contact Rainbow Helicopters for a very exciting ride.

This was my very first time in a helicopter. After I arrived in Hawaii (for a conference plus an extra two days for myself), I know I had to finally do this. After all, I grew up as a kid watching Magnum, P.I., and TC was one of my favorite characters on the show! As to the ride...yes, it is expensive (at least to me), but it IS WORTH IT. It was a fantastic experience to see Honolulu and the surrounding areas from above (as much as 2000 ft). The oceans and mountains are so beautiful. I was never once scared...just amazed, and amazed the whole time. My pilot Freddy was fantastic as well. Very freindly and personable. He asked me questions as well as answered mine. It was a true conversation on top of acting as a tour guide. I cannot recommend him enough. And...do the ride with the doors off. You will be glad that you did!

This may have been my confusion, but I Thought our flight was supposed to be my in-land (to see some waterfalls that can't be seen from roads or hiking in?), but our flight just went on the outskirts of the island. I wasn't sure if this was due to the fact that the weather was not as great that day or just my misunderstanding. However, we still really enjoyed our flight and did get to see some areas we had not seen from the ground. Our pilot was very friendly and knowledgeable, and all other staff were very friendly as well. Overall, a great experience.
